The alleged victim, identified only as “Jane Doe,” made the disturbing allegations in a refiling of a new civil lawsuit filed Sunday in the Southern District of New York.
The complaint was originally filed against Combs in October, but was later amended to include Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter).
However, Jay-Z responded to the complaint, claiming that the victim's attorney had refiled the complaint for allegedly attempting to “blackmail” the victim.
The teenage victim was at a drug-fuelled party after the VMA show at Radio City Music Hall in September 2000, where an unnamed “female celebrity” watched her act. At the time, he claimed he was attacked by Combs and Carter.
According to the filing, the girl claims the assault happened after she had one drink and felt “dizzy and light-headed.”
“Plaintiff entered what appeared to be an empty bedroom to look for a place to rest and lie down for a short time,” the plaintiff charged.
“Shortly thereafter, Combs entered the room with Defendant Carter and a female celebrity. Plaintiff immediately recognized all three celebrities.”
“Combs aggressively approached Plaintiff with a crazy look in his eyes, grabbed her and said, 'I'm ready to party,'” the filing added.
“Comms then threw Plaintiff against a wall, causing Plaintiff to fall. Plaintiff stood up and stumbled, at which point Combs grabbed her again and threw her onto the bed. At that point, Plaintiff became increasingly confused. Carter then began to remove Plaintiff's clothes.
The women then claimed that Combs and Carter held them down and raped them while the anonymous female star looked on.
In a statement, Carter announced the new allegations and Tony, the alleged victim's Texas lawyer who has handled multiple civil cases against Combs since he was indicted on federal sex trafficking charges in September. -Accused Mr. Buzbee.
“My lawyer received an attempted blackmail, called a demand letter, from an 'attorney' named Tony Buzbee. It was the nature of these allegations that he was calculating to bring about intense public scrutiny. I would then be willing to settle,” Carter said in a lengthy statement.
“No, that backfired! I wanted to expose you for your public fraud. So, no, I won't give you a single red penny.”
“These allegations are so heinous in nature that we would like criminal charges to be filed rather than civil!! Anyone who commits such crimes against minors should be locked up. Don't you agree?'' he continued.
“If that's the case, these alleged victims deserve real justice.”
Carter added: “My only heartbreak is for my family. My wife and I have to sit our kids down, and one of them, her friend is definitely watching the press.'' , is old enough to question the nature of these claims and explain the cruelty and greed of the people.”
Combs' lawyer called the lawsuit a “shameless publicity stunt.”
“As his legal team has previously stated, Mr. Combs has full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, Mr. Combs, male or female, adult or minor, will The truth that I was never sexually assaulted or trafficked will prevail.”
Meanwhile, Combs, who has pleaded not guilty to federal charges and is scheduled to go on trial in May, is being held without bail at a federal detention center in Brooklyn.
