Jayden Daniels Travels with Commanders to London

Jayden Daniels is set to travel with the Commanders to London for their Week 4 matchup against the Colts and will practice as he recovers from an elbow injury.

While it seems a bit optimistic to think he could play this Sunday, the latest updates are promising for Washington, who has had a rocky start to the 2026 season with a 1-2 record.

When Commanders coach Dan Quinn was asked if Daniels had been urging him to play on Sunday, he acknowledged that, yes, that’s just like him. But, to be fair, he noted that Daniels has been dedicated and putting in the necessary work.

“I’m excited to get him back on the practice field,” Quinn mentioned during his virtual press conference.

Daniels injured his elbow during the Commanders’ Week 2 loss to the Cowboys when he bent his left arm awkwardly during a late first-half play.

He had to be carted off the field and missed Week 3’s game against the Seahawks. Quinn expressed confidence that this time, Daniels would recover more quickly than he did during a previous dislocated elbow incident. The coach attributed his optimism to feedback from the medical team about Daniels’ current condition.

“We’re just following the established guidelines. Getting opinions from specialists in New York and L.A. has set us up for the next steps,” Quinn said. “We’ll adhere to that plan.”

Since the beginning of the season, Daniels has completed 29 out of 51 passes, totaling 260 yards and throwing three touchdowns, notably without any interceptions so far. He has also rushed for 100 yards this season.

The team is set to depart for London on Tuesday, preparing to take on the Colts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
