The 100th victory parade in Boston since 2000 will be held on Friday.
One of the most talked-about moments from the Celtics parade was when NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown was seen partying on a duck boat with WNBA Chicago Sky guard Kisle Gondrezick.
Gondrezick has appeared in four games so far this season.
Her father was the late NBA player Grant Gondrezick, who played for the Suns and Clippers in the late 1980s.
The Sky defeated the Dallas Wings 83-72 in a matinee game in Chicago on Thursday and are scheduled to play at home against the Indiana Fever on Sunday.
The Fever, who selected Gondrezick with the fourth overall pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft, have had a fierce rivalry with the Sky this season, with Fever rookie Caitlin Clark and Sky rookie Angel Reese competing against each other from AAU to the big college stage.
Brown averaged 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists in the series against the Mavericks, and was named Finals MVP after his 30-point performance in Game 3 to give the Celtics a 3-0 lead.
Brown signed a record-breaking five-year, $304 million contract extension with the Celtics last offseason, but teammate Jayson Tatum is likely to surpass that figure this summer.
Brown attended the Celtics parade wearing a shirt that read “State Your Source,” a reference to his feud with ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith, who reported unfavorable information from anonymous sources early in the playoffs.
Last year, former Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr. was accused of punching and choking Gondrezick, but the WNBA player later told The Washington Post that the accusations were untrue.
