JD Vance Comments on Elon Musk and Trump Feud

Vice President JD Vance recently addressed the ongoing tensions between Elon Musk and President Donald Trump during an interview with comedian Theo Von. In a post on social media, Vance shared a photo of himself with Von and hinted at discussions surrounding their conflict.

“I’m always loyal to the President and hope that, in the end, Elon will come back to the fold,” he said. Completing his thoughts, he mused about the topics at hand, saying, “What are we going to talk about on the day of Slow News?”

In the interview, Von stirred the pot by bringing up Musk’s accusations against Trump. Vance expressed that he still held out hope for Musk’s return to Trump’s side. He defended Trump, stating, “First of all, it’s definitely not. Donald Trump did nothing wrong with Jeffrey Epstein.” He reiterated his loyalty, adding, “I think Elon is an incredible entrepreneur. I think Doge was really good. This effort to eradicate waste, fraud, and abuse in our country was really good.”

Vance noted that Musk’s negative reactions could be linked to not just the criticism but also protests directed at his companies. “Maybe he’s at the core, so it’s not possible right now,” he reflected.

He also stepped up to defend Trump’s fundraising efforts, suggesting that the complaints sounded similar to those aimed at Musk.

It’s worth mentioning that the friction between Musk and Trump has had financial repercussions for Tesla, which reportedly lost billions in market capitalization, though a recovery in stock price occurred on Friday.

During the podcast, Vance chuckled at a tweet Musk had made, jokingly suggesting that Musk should consider replacing him as president. To that, Von only responded, “Hey! That’s a vote!” to which Vance humorously remarked, “What a god.”
