Whoopi Goldberg told her co-hosts on ABC's “The View” Wednesday that Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) was “acting” during the vice presidential debate.
Co-host Joy Behar said, “Who cares if we say this is a vice presidential debate?” It's not that important. Because you can't put this person in that position. Both are terrible. And because Tim Walz is a real person and a smart guy, he made one mistake. ”
“Remember, what you saw last night was a lot of good acting choices,” Goldberg said.
She added, “J.D. Vance suddenly realized that he might have done something wrong, so he made a choice. So he was trying to show you this other side. And we all have many sides to ourselves, don't get me wrong, you know, to me. There are many aspects.”
Mr. Goldberg concluded: “But I don't want that in the White House. I don't want people to know who they're dealing with. It's very nerve-wracking, and there were a lot of fact-checks that needed to be done. The fact that there were so many things going on was different than what we had at ABC. It was a completely different discussion.”
