Vice President JD Vance on UFOs and Military Drones
During his appearance on Friday’s “Ruthless” podcast, Vice President JD Vance expressed his intrigue about UFOs, mentioning a specific video that has drawn his curiosity. He stated, “I’m obsessed with the whole UFO phenomenon. What’s really happening? What are those videos about? I haven’t gotten to the bottom of it yet, and we’ve only been at it for six months.”
Vance lightheartedly noted that his congressional break in August was intended, in part, to delve deeper into the UFO issue from the previous year.
He even humorously suggested taking the podcast host to Area 51. While he didn’t specify which video piqued his interest, there has been a plethora of footage and reports regarding last year’s mysterious aerial events.
In November, the House Oversight Committee convened a hearing focused on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), aiming to investigate the Pentagon’s findings. Numerous experts and witnesses shared their experiences during the session.
A former Pentagon official told Congress that the U.S. government has evidence supporting the idea that “we are not alone in space,” while also alleging that certain officials may be concealing information.
Lewis Elizondo, the ex-director of the Department of Defense’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), provided testimony, along with other witnesses. He contended, “Excessive secrecy leads to significant misdeeds against dedicated civil servants, military personnel, and the public, all while hiding the fact that we are not alone in the universe.” He referred to those obstructing information as a “cabal.”
In December, there were reports of SUV-sized drones flying over New Jersey, alarming local residents. This prompted the Trump administration to investigate further, ultimately leading to a report released in January detailing their findings.
The White House revealed that some of these drones were authorized to fly by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for various research purposes. “After thorough investigation,” White House Press Director Karoline Leavitt explained, “the drones spotted in large numbers across New Jersey were permissible for research and other reasons.”
