According to multiple reports, a plane carrying Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) made an emergency landing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin after the pilot reported a door malfunction.
After taking off, Trump Force Two was reportedly “operated by Eastern Airlines” and landed in Milwaukee around 1:30 p.m., airport officials said. Confirmed WISNABC.
A spokesman for Vance, the Republican vice presidential nominee, confirmed that the pilot “advised” there was a “fault with the door seal.”
“The pilot reported a door seal malfunction,” Vance’s spokesman, Taylor Van Kirk, said in a statement. “Once the issue was resolved, the aircraft returned to its originally scheduled flight path to Cincinnati.”
The media outlet reported that Vance’s plane took off from Milwaukee at about 2:15 p.m.

The emergency landing of Trump Force Two came a week after former President Donald Trump’s plane was diverted to Billings, Montana, for reported mechanical problems. Trump had been scheduled to land in Bozeman ahead of a rally that day.
