Jeeno Thitikul triumphs at the Mizuho Americas Open, maintaining impressive performance recently.

Sometimes things get a bit chalky.

Jeeno Thitikul began the Mizuho Americas Open as the leader last Thursday, ultimately finishing with an impressive score of 17 under par.

This marked Thitikul’s fifth career win, and during the tournament, she set new records for Mizuho, achieving both the 54-hole (202) and 72-hole (271) scores, surpassing Nelly Korda’s previous record from last season. Talk about winning with flair.

Thitikul has been playing remarkable golf lately, and it’s clear she’s on the verge of a breakout. Even though she clinched the tournament, she has been consistent, landing in the top 10 in eight out of her last 10 starts leading up to 2025. Over the past 15 events on the LPGA Tour, dating back to last August, she has notched 13 top-10 finishes.

What added excitement to the tournament was the presence of amateur players. Interestingly, Thitikul mentioned this during her final round on Sunday!

It’s not every day you see tournament leaders being interviewed calmly during the last round, but Thitikul seems to operate differently than most.

Her unique outlook on life stands out. After her win, she noted that a victory wouldn’t define her. At just 22 years old, that’s quite a mature perspective.

For her triumph at Mizuho, Thitikul earned $450,000, bringing her season total to $1.1 million. She’s just shy of reaching $11 million in total earnings for her career so far.

Congratulations to Jeeno Thitikul on her victory.
