On Thursday, as the wedding festivities for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez kicked off, celebrities like Orlando Bloom and Tom Brady were spotted taking water taxis around the luxurious canals of Venice, Italy. The atmosphere was quite lively, especially when Sanchez made a splash as she boarded a boat outside the Aman Hotel.
Reports suggest that the first event of their wedding was set to be a kickoff party in Cannaregio. Bezos apparently traveled with a sizable security detail—around ten bodyguards—to ensure the safety and privacy of the attendees. Initially, they planned to hold their event at the historic Scola Grande della Misericordia but instead chose a former shipyard.
