Bezos and Sanchez Enjoy Pre-Wedding Celebration in Cannes
Jeff Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, were spotted sharing some affectionate moments on a luxurious yacht this week, as they prepare for their wedding scheduled for this summer.
In a photo acquired by Fox News, the 61-year-old Amazon founder and the 55-year-old former entertainment journalist were seen relaxing with friends on a yacht valued at approximately $500 million, anchored off the coast of Cannes, France. Bezos was caught playfully touching Sanchez while lounging next to a friend, who appeared to be enjoying the couple’s display of affection.
Sanchez flaunted her toned physique in a leopard print bikini paired with a straw hat, while Bezos opted for a simple navy t-shirt and patterned swim trunks.
In several images, Bezos was seen kneeling beside Sanchez, demonstrating his fondness by rubbing her arm and even kissing her on the neck. There was a particular moment when Sanchez was photographed perched on his lap, raising her arms jubilantly.
The couple later shared a meal with friends at the yacht’s deck area, embodying a relaxed atmosphere. According to Architectural Digest, Bezos commissioned his yacht, named Koru, in 2018, and it was delivered in 2023. At 417 feet in length, it holds the title of the largest sailing yacht globally.
Koru features nine private rooms, multiple Jacuzzis, a swimming pool, and even a pickleball court—a rather extravagant showcase of luxury. It’s worth noting that the yacht is accompanied by a support vessel named Abeona, which includes helipads and hangars.
Interestingly, Sanchez, a certified helicopter pilot, was spotted flying between the two yachts.
Bezos popped the question while aboard Koru in May 2023. Sanchez shared details about their engagement in a Vogue interview later that year. The couple is currently in Cannes for the festivities surrounding the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, and Sanchez was recently acknowledged at the Global Gift Gala for her philanthropic efforts.
The pair’s celebration kicked off with Sanchez hosting a glamorous bachelorette party in Paris that included a star-studded dinner gathering.
On the wedding front, invitations have reportedly been sent out, and they are said to be tying the knot in Venice, Italy, this June, while local officials express their eagerness to support the event.
