On Thursday evening, the Justice Department released a much-anticipated document in relation to infamous sex predator Jeffrey Epstein, which includes a list of his contacts, flight logs and a list of evidence the government has accumulated against him.
However, the roughly 200 pages of document dump did not provide a major revelation. Instead, they listed celebrities and politicians who are already known to als with the infamous pedophiles.
Attorney General Pam Bondy has since alleged that witnesses have told her that the FBI Field Office in New York had requested the department for the material and requested that she make it public.
Among the famous names on Epstein's contact list released by the Justice Department on Thursday: Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, actors Alec Baldwin, Ethel Kennedy – Robert F. Kennedy Jr., mother of former New York governor Andrew Cuomo, supermodel Naomi Campbell and Rocker Courtney Love.
Others are as follows: Bob Weinstein, brother of Harvey Weinstein. David Koch; late Senator Ted Kennedy. Actor Ralph Fiennes. Kelly Kennedy; Lawyer Alan Darshortitz. John Kelly; Actor Dustin Hoffman. John Huntsman, a businessman. Ivana Trump, Ivanka Trump. Model Liz Harley. The president's name was not included in the contact list.
This list is not a “client list,” but it contains the names of people from Epstein's vast contact list.
A list of names in the contact list has been revealed, but addresses and contact information have been edited.
Most of the names on the list have been previously reported over the years, if not all of them, of the lawsuit.
In addition to our contact list, DOJ has released an edited list of Massages. There were 254 names on that list.
The binder also had Epstein's “Lolita Express” private jet flight log. This was previously published in the editorial. One second of the binder was fully edited as it contained the name of the Epstein victim.
The logs showed the signature of David Rogers of the flight. Rogers has previously testified in court about what he witnessed while he was flying around Epstein.
Two copies of Epstein's Little Black Book had already been published under the names of 349 associates in the 1990s. One copy has been posted at the auction.
Sources who reviewed the binder, which includes the first tranche of information, called “Phase 1,” said Thursday's release would be a “disappointment” for sick sex traffickers for those hoping for a bombshell revelation about potentially terrible relationships with well-known politicians and business leaders.
Furthermore, it was not immediately known whether there was an Epstein-related information dump, but the name of the binder implies that there could be an additional “phase.”
The “Phase 1” binder was offered to 15 conservative influencers before it was made public.
“The interesting thing right now is that we are all waiting for a bomb,” podcaster Liz Wheeler told followers on X's livestream. “We're all waiting for something juicy. And it's not what's in this binder. It's not what's in this binder. And that's exactly how the Attorney General presented it to us.”
“It's okay to be frustrated,” she added. “It should be frustrating.”
Critics, including Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FLA.), who heads the House GOP Task Force on Government Transparency, quickly called for more information.
“I was also given or reviewed the Epstein Documents released today to the task force. New York Post Story in NY revealed that the document is simply an Epstein phone book.” Luna tweeted.
“This is not what we or the Americans wanted, and it's not a complete disappointment. Get us the information we wanted!”
Bondi gives the FBI a Friday deadline and coughs out the excellent material.
“The first phase of the file released today will shed light on Epstein's extensive network and begin to provide long-deferred accountability to the public,” she said in an official statement.
FBI director Kash Patel vowed that “concealment, missing documents, no stone left behind” and that “people who undermine this will be pursued quickly.”
“If records are hidden, we'll reveal them,” he added. “And we bring everything we find to the DOJ, and we'll be fully appreciated and transparently sown to the American people.”
Epstein's infamous “Little Black Book” was first revealed in a 2009 lawsuit and was published by the site Gawker, which was repealed in 2015.
The 2004 and 2005 books featured notable entries from former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Mick Jagger, Prince Andrew, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, actor Alec Baldwin, singer Jimmy Buffet, David Koch and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
The book, which includes contact information for Epstein from the 90s, surfaced several years later and contained 349 names. Of these, 221 were best friends of President Trump, New York businessman John Catamatidis, and the billionaire New York businessman Melania Trump, who was not released in 2015, including co-owner.
Other names included billionaire activist investor Carl Icahn, wife of Chris Cuomo, Christina Greene, former Playboy CEO Christie Hefner, former New Republic Publishing, former political leaders Al Gore and Marty Peretz.
Those listed are not accused of fraud linked to Epstein.
The 90s book was discovered by a woman auctioned on Fifth Avenue in East Village by Vermont Social Studies teacher Christopher Herari for $425 on eBay. Helali is placing the book at auction in hopes of winning as much as $50,000 in March.
He pleaded guilty in Florida to child prostitution crimes in Florida in 2008 and was given a plea agreement for a quiet lover who saw him go to prison in 13 months in a Cussy Work Release Program.
He was again arrested by Manhattan prosecutors on sex trafficking charges and was hanged in a Manhattan lockup while awaiting trial.
Githrain Maxwell, the woman on his right, was later convicted in the same sex trafficking case and is currently serving 20 years later.
