Epstein Files Reveal Controversial Connections in the Hamptons
A recent release of documents sheds light on Jeffrey Epstein’s activities in the Hamptons. These emails suggest that Epstein frequently brought young girls to exclusive vacation spots, including organizing overnight stays with influential associates.
One email exchange applauded Epstein for coordinating a “girls weekend” in the upscale area, with someone mentioning the interest of a local nightclub owner in hosting weekly events for “beautiful Russian girls.” This was highlighted in materials published by the Ministry of Justice.
The documents reveal numerous emails that illustrate Epstein’s extensive connections along the coast. For instance, an FBI report from 2020 shows that he was well-entrenched in the area, with tips being sent to authorities regarding his procurement of underage girls.
According to the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network, the largest organization combating sexual violence in the U.S., the files mention grooming activities, which involve perpetrators establishing trust and a relationship with minors for coercive purposes.
The records imply that Epstein often used trips to the Hamptons to groom these young girls, with some emails directed to him referencing unnamed associates in the area. However, none of these communications pointed to clear allegations of unlawful conduct.
“We had pink T-shirts that said ‘Girls Weekend’ on them. Jeffrey, thank you so much for our happiest time together,” read one email from May 2016. Accompanying this was a modified photo of girls dining on a sidewalk in Montauk.
Other emails suggested that Epstein traveled several times while coordinating with various contacts in the Hamptons. One notable individual is Stephen Hanson, a billionaire restaurateur, who reportedly asked if the “girls” could stay at his property for a weekend. Correspondence confirms that he complied with Epstein’s requests, although there’s no evidence suggesting wrongdoing on his part.
Hanson, noted for discussing activities like making “jerky,” also invited the girls to his Hamptons restaurant and shared plans about attending the opera after spending time with his wife.
Additionally, the documents mention Mark Baker, a popular nightclub owner and party promoter who had ties to Epstein. In a 2010 email, an individual described Baker’s request to organize frequent parties in New York and the Hamptons for a group of attractive Russian women, suggesting it as a social opportunity.
Baker is documented in later email threads arranging meetings with Epstein, and it appears he is currently residing in Bali, Indonesia.
As of now, neither Hanson nor Baker has responded to inquiries regarding these revelations.
