Jeffries Critiques Trump, Exchanges Barbs

Over the weekend, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries from New York criticized President Donald Trump, coining a term that shadows a frequent criticism leveled at Democrats—”Jeffries confusion syndrome.”

In response, Democratic leaders rallied with three simple words, sharing screenshots where Trump labeled Jeffries a “low IQ person” and hinted at impeachment for calling the Supreme Court “illegitimate.”

“Jeffries confusion syndrome,” he remarked, echoing a sentiment often heard from Trump supporters referring to those who oppose the president as suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

In a recent social media post, President Trump branded Jeffries a “thug” and a “danger to our country,” also including a peculiar image of a lawmaker with a baseball bat.

Jeffries, likely amused, responded on X by mocking Trump’s message with a quip, asking, “Do you need a hug? Be Best.”

At a press conference, he reiterated his concerns, mentioning the “Supreme Court’s disproportionate majority,” possibly implying that the current political climate requires deeper scrutiny.
