At 39, the remarkable Novak Djokovic is showing he still has plenty to give at this year’s Wimbledon.
On July 10, Djokovic will compete against Jannik Sinner in the semifinals. He’s had an incredible career, so there’s not much left for him to prove. Yet, securing another victory against the top-ranked player—who he defeated earlier this year in the Australian Open semifinals—would reinforce the idea that his skill is nearly ageless.
Djokovic’s success can be attributed, in part, to his stable home life. His wife, Elena, has been a constant support throughout his career. Though they tied the knot in 2014, they’ve been together since their high school days.
Elena is often seen cheering him on, and she’ll be watching from the stands when he faces Sinner on Friday morning. Just recently, on July 8, she expressed her support on Instagram with a collage that featured a picture of them walking on the grass, accompanied by a caption expressing pride and excitement for the semifinals.
In some of the pictures, Elena is dressed in a white skirt, and they capture various beautiful scenes, including the Wimbledon Museum. It seems that when Djokovic isn’t competing, he enjoys exploring different parts of England.
The upcoming semifinal match is highly anticipated, as both players have been in outstanding form throughout this prestigious tournament.
