Jelly Roll and Bunny Zoe’s Family Journey
Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunny Zoe, are sharing their experience as they try to expand their family while holding on to their faith.
In a revealing chat with Maury Povich on her podcast “Dumb Blonde,” Bunny, whose legal name is Alisa Deford, discussed her ongoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey and her hopes of becoming a mother.
Bunny, who is 40, expressed, “It’s difficult, but I feel like I’m leaving it in God’s hands. If it’s meant to be, it will happen. If not, there’s always adoption—I’m fully on board with that, and so is my husband.”
Povich reflected on his personal journey with infertility and connected it to Bunny’s situation. “We faced similar challenges,” he mentioned, recalling how he and his wife, Connie Chan, navigated their struggles to conceive. He added, “This was more than three decades ago, and it became a big topic back then.”
“It’s a big deal, but at the same time, I just feel like I’m in God’s hands.”

Ultimately, Povich and his wife made the decision to adopt, which he described as the best choice they could have made.
Bunny has been sharing her fertility experience with fans for the past year, giving them an honest view of her ups and downs throughout the process.
Earlier this year, she celebrated a significant moment in her IVF journey, posting an emotional video on Instagram. She described the moment she received long-awaited news from her doctor after five months of waiting.
In her heartfelt video, she said, “Amidst all the tears, despair, and struggle, God finally said, ‘Here.’” She quickly clarified that she wasn’t announcing a pregnancy, simply sharing a milestone for her.
Bunny married Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Deford, in 2016. She also takes care of his two children from a previous relationship, daughter Bailey Ann and son Noah Buddy.
