Jelly Roll Unveils Songwriting Program at Nashville Juvenile Detention Center, with Help from Country Stars ERNEST and Jeffrey Steele

“We go to JDC two days a week to work in the studio. We offer music production education, rap classes, and more to those interested to teach, mentor, and encourage participants. We offer songwriting and studio time, as well as music business classes,” she said.

“We also plan to produce songs from this program and continue to support inmates through music instruction after they turn 18 and are released from JDC.”

Casey’s father, Jeffrey Steele, attended the opening and performed alongside fellow country music star Jelly Roll and others. Ernest. Steele also worked with the inmates to write one of the numbers.
