Former ESPN personality Jemele Hill was inspired by a video of white frat boys protesting against left-wing Hamas supporters marching on the campus of the University of Mississippi.
About 30 protesters gathered at Ole Miss Quad to show support for the Palestinians as Hamas continues its pledge to kill Jews. Still, their protests sparked more counter-demonstrations, many wearing the red, white and blue of our national flag, and some carrying President Trump flags. The counter-demonstrators laughed, ridiculed Pro-Hamas demonstrators.

In response to a video posted by an He argued that “overt hostility” does not raise the same level of concern as those taking part in the protests. He is concerned about anti-Semitism. And she wanted at least one of the fluffy boys to be “banned from campus.”
“1) What fraternity does he represent? The national leadership of that fraternity should be contacted immediately and that fraternity should be banned from campus,” she wrote.
2) We have seen endless conversations and actions generated recently regarding anti-Semitism, but is there not the same energy to defend this blatant hostility directed at Black students? I don’t think so,” she added, as if the conversation had never happened.About racism in America

Hill gained support from some of her X followers.
“Look at the grins and self-congratulations on the faces of these white racists,” exclaimed X user Matthew Spira.

Another fan of Hill implied that he thinks all Mississippi residents are racist. write“A Day with the Average Mississippian.”
Another person claimed that the video shows that everyone is racist in southern states.
This is why I discourage my kids from going to college in Texas, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and South Carolina; I don’t send them to schools to network with their abusers. there is no.

But some wondered how Hill could support the free speech rights of a black woman who supports Palestinians but not the frat boys she wants to expel from school.
For example, one X user asked Hill if he only supported “free speech on your side.”
So you don’t like this freedom of speech?
Is it just freedom of speech on your part?

Many more agreed that Hill was being hypocritical.
Both sides seem to have freedom of speech.
But one side supports Hamas, the other does not— Sweet Xyience (@SweetXyience) May 3, 2024
You’re exercising your free speech right…or are you trying to say you hate free speech?

Oh, all of a sudden I care about someone making inflammatory comments or actions towards someone else, but when they do it towards a Jewish student, it’s fine

Campus protests have intensified across the country in recent weeks as left-wing demonstrators shut down higher education institutions in a show of solidarity with Hamas. Since the beginning of this week, several counter-protests have taken place to protect the national flag from desecration and to ridicule pro-Hamas demonstrators.
