House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-Texas) confirmed in a letter to Psaki on Monday that she had accepted a request for her to appear before the committee and submit to a recorded interview.

But she only said she would attend if the Biden administration allowed it, he noted.

McCaul said that while Psaki has refused to testify for months, other senior officials have been willing to speak to his committee.

He said his staff would be happy to participate in any talks between Ms Psaki and the White House, and he hopes the issues can be resolved before Ms Psaki is scheduled to meet on June 26.Number exterior.
