MSNBC host Jen Psaki praised Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff as someone who “reshaped perceptions of masculinity” after it was recently revealed that he impregnated his child's nanny during his first marriage. Despite this, it has been ridiculed on social media.

Before marrying Harris in 2014, Emhoff divorced his first wife of 16 years, film producer Kirstin Emhoff, in 2008.
