Challenging Times for Jenna Johnson and Corey Feldman on “Dancing with the Stars”
It seems this pairing is anything but perfect.
Jenna Johnson, a two-time champion on “Dancing with the Stars,” has been facing significant challenges while working with her partner, Corey Feldman, this season.
According to another contestant, Johnson’s journey with Feldman has been particularly tough. While many observers can easily comment from the outside, he acknowledged that the real difficulties often lie beneath the surface, making it even harder for her.
Chmerkovskiy, who claims a Mirror Ball Trophy from his “DWTS” days, urged everyone to show respect toward Johnson.
He emphasized, “You’re talking about the reigning champion, so please pay tribute to her legacy.”
As for the reasons behind Johnson’s struggles with Feldman, Chmerkovskiy speculated that it isn’t merely about age. Instead, he pointed to Feldman’s challenges with dancing and his overall work ethic. He mentioned that Feldman feels out of his comfort zone when it comes to choreography.
“Just remember, it’s not just you and your partner dancing. There’s a whole production involved,” Chmerkovskiy explained. He highlighted the numerous people the contestants have to interact with, along with interviews, all while trying to navigate their rehearsal schedules.
Despite the difficulties, he expressed confidence in Johnson’s capabilities as a resilient coach.
He believes that Johnson will find a way to make things work with Feldman.
Sources indicate that both Johnson and her husband, Chmerkovskiy, have faced many struggles with their respective partners this season. Chmerkovskiy himself is paired with influencer Alixar.
Reports suggest that both couples have been warned by producers about expressing dissatisfaction, stating, “We don’t complain about celebrity participants.” It seems they’ve had their share of frustration.
Last week, Feldman had a disappointing performance during the season premiere, scoring just 9 out of 20 for his tango. This score clearly indicates some room for improvement.
Johnson, a two-time Mirror Ball Trophy winner, hinted at further challenges with her partner, pointing out that she hadn’t seen Feldman in the week following their partnership announcement.
As she reflected on the situation in an Instagram Story, she noted, “Honestly, I haven’t seen him since we were paired.” Such sentiments likely resonate with fans and viewers wondering what’s happening behind the scenes.
