Jenna Ortega channels Sarah Jessica Parker with her second dress inspired by Carrie Bradshaw

Jenna Ortega seems to embody the spirit of Carrie Bradshaw beautifully.

At an afterparty on Tuesday celebrating the premiere of her film “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” Ortega paid homage to Sarah Jessica Parker’s iconic character. This event followed her appearance on the red carpet where she turned heads in a fashion-forward piece.

The dress, reminiscent of DKNY’s archives, has historical significance; it once graced the same famous “naked dress” hoodie Parker wore during the 1997 VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards. Ortega opted for a slightly different version in a more vibrant pink.

Stylist Enrique Melendez shared his appreciation on her Instagram, thanking Parker for her influence on Ortega’s style.

The 22-year-old actress, mingling at the premiere of “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” complemented her mini dress with an oversized oatmeal fur coat and strappy metallic shoes.

Earlier that day, at the film’s New York premiere, Ortega showcased an even more striking look. She went viral for donning a newspaper dress straight from John Galliano’s Dior Fall 2000 collection, which featured a cowl neckline and an asymmetrical hemline.

In “Sex and the City,” Carrie also wore a similar patterned film, showing up in season three and again in the 2010 sequel.

Ortega accessorized the standout dress with a simple pendant necklace, an adjustable bracelet, diamond-studded rings, and chic metallic heels.

Who knows? Perhaps we’ll see Ortega channeling Carrie once again during the press tour. That would definitely keep things interesting.
