Jenna Ortega Stuns at the 2025 Academy Museum Gala
Jenna Ortega was the center of attention on the red carpet at the 2025 Academy Museum Gala this past Saturday.
The 23-year-old actress chose a striking two-piece outfit by Grace Lin, consisting of a brown satin maxi skirt paired with a dark metallic breastplate.
The top design mimicked a leaf shape, and its stem gracefully wrapped around her neck and along her back. It hung in a way that teased a glimpse of her sideboob.
The leaf structure appeared almost weightless, supported only by cascading stems down her back.
Ortega styled her hair in a low ponytail, complemented by smoky eye makeup, subtle red lips, and bleached eyebrows. She accessorized with jewelry from Tacori.
This bold look was actually a highlight of the designer’s Spring 2026 collection, debuting in New York City last month, and it marked the first time Ortega wore this particular ensemble.
Her stylist, Enrique Melendez, shared praise on social media, calling Lin a “true genius” while the designer responded with gratitude for the “magic” of Ortega’s look.
Ortega certainly turned heads with this bold and sophisticated outfit, reminiscent of another two-piece ensemble she wore just last month, featuring a long black skirt and a revealing Givenchy top.
Her latest style brings to mind her Givenchy outfit at the 2025 Emmy Awards, which showcased a similarly dramatic skirt and a dazzling top that left little to the imagination.
Interestingly, Melendez mentioned on a podcast that the Givenchy top weighed between 20 and 30 pounds, leading to some curiosity about the physical demands of her recent looks.
Ortega has always embraced method dressing, often selecting red carpet outfits that reflect the films she’s promoting.
Even though she’s not in a full promotional phase right now, she tends to lean towards a gothic glam style, influenced by her role in “Wednesday.”
Season 2 of the Netflix spinoff of the “Addams Family” is now available to watch in its entirety.
