Jennifer Garner was spotted visiting ex-husband Ben Affleck’s birthday on Thursday, but marital troubles between him and his current wife Jennifer Lopez continue.
The “13 Going on 30” star wore a striped white T-shirt and navy pants while stopping by his rental home in Brentwood, California.
She accessorized her look with glasses and some simple jewellery including dainty silver earrings and an Apple Watch.
The former couple, who divorced in 2018, appear to remain amicable and continue to maintain a “mature” co-parenting relationship as they raise their three children together: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
The actress, who returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Elektra in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film, lightly joked about her split from Affleck.
Garner’s visit came shortly after Lopez posted a throwback solo photo to Instagram for her birthday, which also happened to be her estranged husband’s 52nd birthday, further fueling rumors of the couple’s breakup.
The “On the Floor” singer, who is currently living separately from Affleck, spent her recent birthday in the Hamptons, where she hosted a birthday dinner at Nick & Toni’s restaurant and a “Bridgerton”-themed party, where she wore a sparkly Dior couture dress.
Affleck and Lopez also celebrated their second wedding anniversary on different coasts in July.
The couple has been rumored to be heading for divorce since May, after fans noticed Affleck wasn’t by Lopez’s side at the Met Gala.
Page Six previously learned that Affleck was ready for divorce after a source said he had “come to his senses” about the relationship and felt like he was in a “fever dream” during their whirlwind relationship.
He also missed all of Lopez’s “Atlas” press tour and film premieres.
Garner reportedly supported her ex-husband and urged him to “improve his marriage” to Lopez.
Lopez and Affleck, who married in July 2022, officially put their marital home up for sale in July. The Argo star has already found a new residence in Pacific Palisades, while Lopez continues to search for a home of her own in Los Angeles.
