Celebrity weddings tend to be extravagant, full of glitz and glamor, but some stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Blake Lively, and Sarah Michelle Gellar are not so classy at their weddings. experienced a problem.

From asking guests to leave to bad weather to even a major wardrobe malfunction, these celebs opened up about the unfortunate things that happened on their wedding day.

The “Hunger Games” actress recently reflected on her star-studded wedding and admitted she was worried about her guests, especially Robert De Niro.

During her 2019 wedding to Cooke Maroney, Lawrence said she was especially worried about De Niro at the rehearsal dinner.

“I looked around and there was Bob, I don't know anybody…He was like walking around. And I immediately thought, 'No, this is not what he wants to do. “I don't want to be here,'' she told E! 2024 Golden Globe Awards News.

“So I went up to him and whispered, 'Go home.' And he was nice. He was talking to my parents, too, and he was polite. But I was like, 'Go home.' That's what it felt like.”

Lawrence added that she felt relieved after he left, saying she “felt really good.”

The No Hard Feelings star went on to joke that being a bride would be “terrible.”

“It's very stressful. It's not fun. You're like, 'Is he having fun?'” she says.

“I'll never forget it. I was frustrated because the guests were so cold,” Lawrence recalled. “And all my friends were lying. They were like, 'No one's cold, no one's cold, it's okay, it's okay.'

She remembered her mother's curt attitude toward her on her important wedding day. “Her mother was like, 'It's cold outside, grandma almost died,'” she said.

Lawrence and Maroney reportedly held an A-list ceremony in front of 150 friends and family at Belcourt Castle in Newport, Rhode Island.

The guest list included the likes of Adele. Kris Jenner. Nicole Richie and her husband Joel Madden. Cameron Diaz; and Sienna Miller. Emma Stone and Ashley Olsen were also in attendance.

Lawrence and Maroney first started dating in 2018 and got engaged in February 2019. Three months later, they celebrated with a party in New York City. In September 2019, the two were spotted getting a marriage license in the city. The couple has a 1-year-old son.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' wedding day was literally uncontrollably hot.

The Gossip Girl star wore a haute couture Marchesa wedding dress to tie the knot, but she also had a wardrobe malfunction.

“Florence Welch was singing at the reception. She brought out a sparkler and I was watching her sing. I looked down and saw one of the sparklers on my wedding dress. There was what looked like a big burn mark. Right in the front! And it was like, 'It's really heartbreaking,'” Lively shared with Vogue via People magazine.

“Then my dress was hanging down and Ryan said, 'Isn't that beautiful?'” I said, “What?” And he pointed to the burn. My heart stopped because it was such a delicate little subject. And he said, “You'll always remember that moment of Florence's song and sparklers. It's preserved there forever.'' That's my favorite thing about this dress. It's a part. ”

Lively and Reynolds tied the knot in September 2012 in a family-friendly ceremony near Charleston, South Carolina. The couple have four children.

“Earthquake? Hurricane? Well, I think it's a great start,” Ron DiBlasio, a talent manager and longtime friend of the Prinze family, told People magazine at the time. “All of these larger-than-life natural events can only bode well for marriage.”

“We're each other's best friends,” the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star previously said. “He is my first love.”

Geller and Prinze Jr. met while filming the 1997 film I Know What You Did Last Summer. The couple has been married for over 20 years and has two children, son Rocky James and daughter Charlotte Grace.

“Laguna Beach” star Kristin Cavallari suffered minor injuries before walking down the aisle.

Before he was ready to say “I do” to NFL star Jay Cutler, his dog Brando bit him in the face and blood was found everywhere.

“On the morning of the wedding, I was at home with my family… I bowed my head by the brand, and the next thing I knew, the hand I had on my face was covered, and I felt pain. “I was sitting there 'in my blood,'” she shared in her book, Balancing in Heels.

“Brando bit my eye. Luckily, I closed my eye right away, but he only hurt my eyelid. I went to the mirror in shock. All I saw was a swollen eye and blood everywhere.”

Cavallari went on to explain that she called Cutler hysterically and crying.

“I need you. I'm coming home. It's right. Now,” she wrote, noting that Cutler could barely understand her through his tears. Cutler later confessed in her wedding speech that she thought she might call off her wedding.

The two got married on June 7, 2013. Cavallari broke up with her former quarterback in 2020, just before their seventh wedding anniversary. They have three children: Camden, Jackson, and Saylor.
