Jennifer Lopez admits there are no “coincidences” in life and reveals how the pop star deals with “difficulties.”
Lopez, 55, found a way to “come to terms” with life lessons in the wake of her divorce from ex Ben Affleck, 52.
“I think the way to get through things is to think that it's not something that happened to me, but something that happened for me, and what are the lessons to be learned in this moment,” the musician said in an interview. British Vogue magazine.

Lopez filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court on August 20. Her petition to dissolve her marriage to Affleck was filed on the second anniversary of their wedding in Georgia.
Rumors about the couple's marriage plagued Hollywood executives for several months, until Lopez chose to file for divorce.

The newlyweds tied the knot a month later in a backyard ceremony with friends and family at the $8 million Georgia mansion Affleck bought when they started dating 20 years ago.
Lopez and Affleck first met in 2002 while filming the movie Gigli. The two were scheduled to get married in 2003, but postponed the wedding. By early 2004, the two called off their engagement.
Affleck and Lopez will reunite again before the summer of 2021. Affleck suggested in April of the following year.
