Just a year after her divorce filing, Jennifer Lopez had a casual lunch and shopping outing with Samuel, the son of her ex-husband Ben Affleck.
The “Get Right” singer, 56, turned heads in a crop top and cargo pants paired with stilettos on Saturday in Beverly Hills. She was spotted alongside Samuel and her child, Emmem, who’s 17.
In one picture, the iconic singer was seen chatting with Samuel while checking out shoes in a vibrant store. The trio also made a stop at Balenciaga.
In another snapshot, Lopez, holding a Christian Dior shopping bag, helped Samuel into his car, dressed in casual shorts and a light blue button-down shirt.
They also shared a meal together, according to a TMZ report. This was not their first outing; Lopez was last photographed with Samuel in August 2024 and had previously attended a Lakers game in March of the same year.
This sighting comes just three years following Lopez’s wedding to Samuel’s father, which took place on August 20 at a lavish ceremony in Georgia.
However, merely two years into their marriage, Lopez initiated divorce proceedings against Affleck, whom she had previously engaged in 2005.
While Ben Affleck was attending a Yale event for his daughter Violet alongside his former wife Jennifer Garner, he was spotted enjoying family time. Last Friday, he and Garner took their younger children, Samuel and Seraphina, to a movie. The former couple appeared to be in good spirits, laughing and chatting while out with their kids.
In various photos, Garner looked to be having a great time, her laughter evident as they walked together. Ben and Garner also attended a Red Sox game in July with their children.
Reports indicate that Lopez had mixed feelings about seeing frequent photos of Affleck with Garner, particularly images that seemed too cozy, especially soon after her divorce filing. In March, an insider noted that the photos were like “salt in wounds” for her, creating tension for the Grammy-winning artist.
Meanwhile, Garner’s partner, John Miller, reportedly shares her discomfort regarding the situation, expressing his desire to avoid such images in the future.
