‘Jeopardy!’ kicks Jets fans while their down with devastating final clue: ‘Pretty rough 55-year streak’

New York Jets fans received random attacks from Jeopardy! as the team endures another tough losing season. Thursday night, just hours after it was reported that owner Woody Johnson is making key team decisions based on player evaluations from the video game series “Madden NFL.”

Gang Green fans were left stunned when host Ken Jennings revealed the answer to the final Jeopardy! The clue for the “Super Bowl History” category was based on the Jets' lack of postseason success over the decades.

The tip Jennings read was, “They're the only team that played in the Super Bowl before Neil Armstrong's moonwalk and haven't been back to the big game since.”

All three contestants may have to brush up on their football history to answer the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, and Houston Texans, but Jennings revealed the correct answer is the New York Jets. .
