Jerry Seinfeld incited a mob of anti-Israel hecklers at his show in Melbourne, Australia, on Saturday night, marking the second time the famous comedian has done so in a week.
Towards the end of Seinfeld’s set, pro-Palestinian protesters began chanting, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” Variety reportedThis popular slogan advocates for the destruction of Israel.
“We’re in the same industry. Our job is to get people to see things the way we do. The problem is, you’re in the wrong place.”
Unfortunately, the disruptors didn’t seem to know that Seinfeld had a knack for disciplining such people.
“Oh they’re back! They’re back! The protesters are back! I miss you!” the comedian retorted, but the audience began booing the hecklers.
“Oh, you’re not doing well. It’s so hard for you,” he continued, trying to convince me. “Look, you and I are in the same job. We’re doing the same job. Our job is to get people to see things the way we do. The problem is, you’re in the wrong place! Did you hear how well I’m doing? This is what you want! You want to be as good as me.” I A.M. Seinfeld went on to explain that if he tried to do a “little comedy act” at a rugby match, “I’d get the same reaction. I’d get kicked out. It’s not my place.”
He added, “I think you need to go back and say to the people who run your organizations: ‘We’ve just given the Jews more money.’ That’s not a good plan for you. That’s not what you want. You’ve got to come up with a better plan.”

A similar scene played out in Sydney last Sunday, when Seinfeld took to the stage and onlookers chanted the same chant, “From the river to the sea.” And, of course, Seinfeld beat up a pro-Palestinian protester.
“That’s right! Folks, we have a genius. He’s solved the Middle East problem! Solved it!” Seinfeld scoffed.
“Jewish comedians are the ones we need to get. They’re the ones doing it all!” he continued. “Yeah, come on, keep going! They’ll start punching you in about three seconds, so we want to bring out all your talent so we can all learn from you.”
