Bad Bible take is common – especially on social media platform X – but Ally Beth Stucky “Friendly” believes that recent interpretations of God's Word may take the cake for the worst.
This interpretation comes from the author of Rick Warren's “Purpose-Driven Life,” an American evangelical pastor and apparently the impression that Jesus Christ is a fence sitter.
“John 19:18, they crucified Jesus with the other two, one on either side, Jesus in the middle.” The men on both sides were thieves. If you're looking for #RealJesus, not a caricature that was looked up by the partisan motives, you'll find him in the middle, not on either side,” Warren wrote in X's post.
“It took me a good second to understand what Brother Warren, the brothers and sisters of Christ, is saying here,” Stucky says. “Indeed, the pastor, who has been a pastor for many years, says that Jesus is physically at the heart of Golgotha, and that he is crucified by his side, and that he is also at the heart of the Republican and Democrats. So I haven't said that.

“He hasn't said he is politically moderate because when the cross was crucified, the cross was in the middle of the three crosses,” she continues, “but that he says It seems like it's something that's happening.”
Stuckey responded to Warren with X through a quote tweet, “This is probably the worst interpretation of the Bible I've ever seen, and it really says something. Jesus said, “The murder of a child, It's not “center” about gender deception, marriage definition, or anything else. In fact, I seem to remember that he had a special keen da for lukewarm water. ”
“It is very clear what God thinks about the holiness of life, the value of the image-bearer, the definition of marriage, and gender. It is not confused. Only when he desires for political purposes. It's confusing,” she adds.
