Jets achieve significant progress in 2026 NFLPA team report cards

The Jets’ New NFL Report Card Shows Improvement

The Jets are probably feeling pretty good about their recent report card.

The 2026 NFL Players Association team report card, which was acquired by ESPN, highlights significant progress for the Jets in various areas.

On the other side, the Giants have also seen shifts in their performance ratings. They’ve reportedly improved in categories such as “family treatment,” “meals/dining areas,” “training staff,” and even “team ownership,” among others.

Interestingly, Jets’ ownership under Woody Johnson made a notable leap from an F to a B. Meanwhile, the head coaching situation saw a jump from a B to an A with Aaron Glenn taking over from Robert Saleh. The “Locker Room” grade also improved, moving from a D+ to an A-.

However, it’s worth mentioning that both the Jets and Giants received an F for their “home game field,” since they share MetLife Stadium.

This report card was generated from survey responses from 1,759 players who were on rosters during the 2025 season, with data collection occurring between November 2 and December 11.

Despite the report’s insights, the NFLPA has held back on releasing it after filing a complaint about this year’s report card, claiming the NFL breached the collective bargaining agreement. Recently, an arbitrator ruled in favor of the owners, stating that the report disrespected NFL clubs and individuals, violating the CBA.

A memo from the league, shared with various media outlets, requested teams to avoid discussing or engaging publicly with the findings of any investigations or report cards, labeling the report card as an “agenda-driven exercise.” The memo suggested that teams should focus on feedback and information from their own players instead of relying on the NFLPA’s narratives, cautioning that discussing the findings might unintentionally support the union’s media efforts.
