Jets linebacker and defensive captain CJ Mosley missed the past three games with a toe injury, but is scheduled to return to the field Monday night against the Bills, the Post reported.
“Yeah, for sure,” Mosley told the Post after Saturday's practice about his plans to play. “I'm really looking forward to getting on the field. I've been feeling good this week. Of course there's going to be some pain, but I'm at a point now mentally where I feel good to go out and play.” I don't know, but it will help make a difference.”
Mosley believes the plan is to share time with Jamien Sherwood, who has filled in admirably in his absence.
“We haven't practiced the whole week like we normally would, so going into a game and playing 60 or 70 snaps probably wouldn't be the best for me or the defense,” Mosley said. “Jamie has done a great job in everything he's done and earned playing time, so we definitely don't want to take away his momentum.”
“My goal was to get more reps and gain confidence,” Mosley said. [in practice] I felt a little nervous when I thought about my feet.
“But this week I've been trying to be 100 percent myself, so I feel really good.”
Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich did not announce an official game time slot for Mosley on Saturday, but he will likely be listed as questionable and adjusted.

“He had a really good week and we've just been steadily progressing to the reps he does in practice,” Ulbrich said. “This week he felt the best he's felt in a while, so we're hopeful.”
Asked how much Mosley would play given how well Sherwood performed in his place, Coach Ulbrich said, “They're all going to be given an opportunity to play. C.J. is very much on this team. There will definitely be a role for him if he dresses, as he is an established leader and has played at a very high level for a very long time.
“At the same time, there are a lot of sets where you have three linebackers on the field, so there's going to be a chance for those two to be on the field.”
