Currently, he’s the starting quarterback for the Dolphins, boasting an impressive 6-0 record against the Jets and a perfect 7-0 overall. Interestingly, as noted by the Palm Beach Post, he has yet to win a game played in temperatures below 46 degrees, with a notable 0-7 record in such conditions.

Forecasts show that it’ll be around 40 degrees in East Rutherford on Sunday, which could pose a challenge for Tagovailoa and the Dolphins as they play in hostile territory.

“First and foremost, it’s going to be cold,” Tagovailoa acknowledged. “That’s definitely in the back of your mind. But aside from that, it’s really about your mentality. It can be tough for defensive backs to react in those moments. However, when a primary option isn’t available, he can take his chances with secondary targets, and he doesn’t falter too much in those situations.”

The Jets, meanwhile, are aiming for their fourth win of the season, marking a significant recovery after an initial 0-7 start, which included a defeat to Miami. They now find themselves at 3-9 and are starting to build some momentum.
