This is a complicated column to convey a ruthless opinion as the Jets made a sound decision when they selected a right tackle armand member on the seventh overall pick on Thursday night of the right NFL Draft.
The 21-year-old, who started 29 games over three seasons in Missouri, considers him an immediate plug-and-play starter for the right tackle opposite the left tackle Orfashanu, the first round pick of last year.
This gives the Jets coveted bookend tackle, giving the starting line three first round picks and one round of one starting five.
“It was like the perfect storm of the guy being a jet,” freshman head coach Aaron Glenn said Menbou fell to number seven. It was easy because he really suited what we were trying to do. If the pick was there for us, man, it was like, “This is the guy.” ”
