Jets Owner Woody Johnson Refused Jerry Jeudy Trade Based on Madden Game Ratings

Insiders have accused New York Jets owner Woody Johnson of making bizarre and inexcusable decisions for the team, including voiding a trade for receiver Jerry Jeudy, according to reports. He says he has lowered the . madden Video games weren't good enough.

Allegedly, when Jeudy was being considered for a possible trade last offseason, Johnson canceled Contract with the Broncos. So instead of going to the Jets, Jeudy ended up going to the Cleveland Browns.

Jeudy has since had his best year in the league, reaching 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his career. TMZ Reported.

But it has now been reported that Mr Johnson rejected the trade based at least in part on the opinions of his teenage sons Brick and Jack, who apparently told their father they didn't think too highly of Judy. Madden NFL 24 Game statistics.

The report also said Johnson gave equal weight to the opinions of his teenage sons when making soccer decisions and did not care about the opinions of professional soccer consultants or executives.

“Mr. Johnson's Reference to Judy madden For some in the Jets organization, this recognition was a sign of Brick and Jack's influence. ” The Athletic Reported.

Coach Johnson reportedly cited the low Madden scores of players other than Jeudy. He used the same logic when evaluating a trade for free agent guard John Simpson, according to people familiar with the matter.

“Another example was when Johnson held off on signing free agent guard John Simpson due to Madden's low 'awareness.' The Jets signed Simpson anyway, and he had a solid season: Pro Football Focus currently rates him as the eighth-best guard in the NFL,” The Athletic added.

However, a Jets spokesperson denied this insider report.

“It's really sad that adults would use misleading anecdotes about teenagers to make their fathers look bad,” the spokesperson said. “The idea that this was used to influence the opinions of experienced management is honestly ridiculous. (The sons) have no role within the organization. To suggest that it is intended to replace the views of Johnson's staff is completely absurd.” bleacher report Said.

Jerry Jeudy said he was shocked and couldn't believe the news.

“To be honest, I can't believe it. I really think it's fake news,” Judy said. “Why would someone look up Madden ratings? Let's be real. I don't think it's real, but it's funny.”
