Jets player victim of armed robbery in New Jersey: report

a New York Jets Reports say the player was taken at a New Jersey muzzle over the weekend after police and another person said he and another were “targeted” after a trip to Manhattan.

The Morristown Public Safety Bureau issued a statement this week confirming that two individuals had been stolen at the muzzle at the “town Windmill Pond Section” around 8pm on Saturday.

“An eyewitness reported seeing a group of unidentified men leave their dark-colored SUV and take two individuals in a second vehicle. At the muzzle. The suspect is said to have taken money and personal items before fleeing the scene,” the statement read.

Although none of them were injured, police say they believe the victim is “targeted and followed by Manhattan.”

Law enforcement said it believes it was an “isolated incident.”

Authorities did not confirm the victim's identity, but a neighbor said NBC New York One of the victims was the current NFL player for the New York Jets.
