Jets trade down three times on NFL draft Day 3, add 2025 pick

The Jets made three trades in the fourth round of Saturday’s draft, adding draft capital from the Packers, Lions and 49ers.

Gang Green was slated to take the 111th overall pick in this year’s draft before giving Green Bay the 126th and 190th picks, but Joe Douglas wasn’t done there.

When it came time to acquire the 126th pick, the Jets traded that pick and signed a second deal, this time with the Lions, for an additional third-round pick in the 2025 draft.

When it came time to pick No. 129 in this year’s draft, they made one more move and sent that pick to the 49ers for a pair of fifth-round picks (picks 173 and 176). Ta.

The Jets had one more pick left in the fourth round, No. 134.

The Jets were very aggressive in the draft, moving up in the third round to take wide receiver Malachi Coley and returning in three trades in Saturday’s draft.
