Jill Biden Praises Drag Queen ‘Last Supper’ Olympics Opening Ceremony

First lady Jill Biden has hailed as “amazing” the controversial opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, which featured drag queens depicting Jesus’ Last Supper and was criticized for offending Christians.

Biden, who led the U.S. delegation to this year’s Olympics, said it would be difficult for Los Angeles to outdo Paris’ opening ceremony in 2028.

“Last night was absolutely amazing,” the first lady said. Said At the anniversary brunch, according to NBC Los Angeles, “The rain didn’t dampen our morale. With every step, I was thinking in my mind, Oh my God, Oh my God, How are we ever going to top this?”

As athletes from each country floated down the Seine and drag queens and other costumed performers danced, rain poured down on the ceremony, drawing criticism from people who thought it was unrepresentative of French culture.

“Paris has the Eiffel Tower, but we have Hollywood, and we have the magic of Hollywood to make all your dreams come true. I think we’re going to be OK… This is a city where a new generation of dreamers is going to shape our culture,” Biden added at the brunch, which was also attended by Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D).

“At the end of the 2028 Olympics, Olympians and fans will see their images reflected in Los Angeles,” the First Lady added.

At the opening ceremony, men wearing makeup and wigs played Jesus’ disciples. Self-proclaimed “Love activist” Barbara Bacci attempted to take on the role of Christ in Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous rendition of “The Last Supper.”

The exhibit was described by British television presenter Piers Morgan as a “mockery of Christianity” and “appalling”.

“The Olympics have made it clear that Christian spectators are not welcome,” wrote journalist Kyle Becker.

The ceremony was also condemned by Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, who called it a “really bad start” to the Olympics.
