Fitness expert Jillian Michaels on Saturday criticized the LGBTQ community after a parody of “The Last Supper” during the Olympic opening ceremony in Paris, France, shocked people around the world.
“Dear gay people…we call for tolerance and respect, yet mock something sacred to over 2 billion Christians. This hypocrisy and lack of understanding is disgusting,” Michaels said. I have written In a social media post featuring images from the performance:

According to Breitbart News, the parody included a “woke fashion show” featuring transgender models, a “highly suggestive bisexual threesome,” and a bearded drag queen dancing provocatively.

“We get angry when the far right attacks us, but this is what we do. How do you think they’re going to respond to the LGBTQ+ community after this? This isn’t how we break down barriers, this is how we build barriers,” Michaels continued.
The “Last Supper” parody caused such backlash that the Olympics lost an American sponsor, Breitbart News reported Saturday.
Mississippi-based phone service company C-Spire posted a statement on Facebook on Saturday announcing its intention to withdraw advertising from the XXXIII Olympiad.
“Shocking that The Last Supper was mocked at the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics. C Spire will be withdrawing its advertising from the Olympics,” the post read.
Meanwhile, Marion Maréchal, niece of National Rally leader Marine Le Pen, called on people around the world not to blame France for the offensive performance, according to Breitbart News.
“Fellow Christians around the world, #Paris2024 “I attended the ceremony and felt insulted by this drag queen parody of the Last Supper, but I want you to know that I am not speaking to France, but to a left-wing minority that responds to any provocation,” she said. I have written In a social media post:

It is worth noting that Mr Maréchal was recently elected as a Member of the European Parliament.
