In a recent conversation, Gillian Michaels opened up about the impact that Charlie Kirk had on her son. She recalled how, after being invited to a Turning Point USA event, her son became curious and decided to join her to meet Kirk.

Michaels, who adopted her daughter Lucentia in 2012 and has a son, Phoenix, born in the same year, expressed a mix of surprise and excitement about attending the event. “Honestly, I never thought I’d be part of this,” she admitted.

She described her son’s enthusiasm to meet Kirk, detailing how he was eager to meet someone he admired while enjoying a vacation with other moms, including her fiancée, Heidi Rhoades. Michaels recounted her busy schedule, which involved multiple flights for business, and wondered how it might affect their plans. “It’s a bit chaotic,” she said.

During the event, she mentioned how Kirk took the time to engage with her son, stopping to wave, take pictures, and connect with him personally, which truly meant a lot. Michaels reflected on the moment fondly, saying, “It was so heartfelt. He gave my son exactly what he needed.”

Michaels also revealed that her son had a heartfelt wish. Just before Kirk’s passing, he asked her to pass a birthday message to him, noting that it was a month away. “He wanted to wish Charlie a happy birthday, but the timing was unfortunate,” she shared, adding how it touched her to think of her son’s admiration.

In closing, she expressed her sentiments regarding Kirk’s kindness and how she hopes to honor his memory by returning the warmth he showed her family. “It’s incredibly moving,” she said. “I wish I had more words to express our gratitude.”
