How the Grinch Stole the Red Carpet
Jim Carrey and Taylor Momsen, who starred together in *How the Grinch Stole Christmas*, had a heartwarming reunion after 25 years. They posed for photos ahead of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Los Angeles.
Carrey, now 63, looked stylish in a brown pinstripe trench coat over a graphic T-shirt, paired with black pants and matching shoes. His shaggy hair was slicked back, giving him a laid-back vibe.
Momsen, who played Cindy Lou Who at just 7 years old, sported a black leather jacket over a slip dress and platform boots, finishing off her edgy appearance with a smokey eye. She reminisced fondly about her time on set, sharing numerous cherished memories with the comedic actor.
“I really love that he was so protective of me,” she shared. “He was always so kind, and the whole experience of filming *The Grinch* was just amazing.” Interestingly, she admitted she didn’t really know what Carrey looked like during production, given all the makeup and prosthetics he wore.
“I didn’t know who Jim was until the premiere,” she recalled. “Someone had to point him out, and I thought, ‘Oh, Jim!'” Carrey has previously expressed his fondness for this film, calling it a “lucky thing” in his life. He’s mentioned how it brings him joy that it remains a holiday favorite, saying, “I’m really happy. It’s a lovely thing.”
