Jasmine Crockett Accepts Kimmel’s Challenge
Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett has reportedly agreed to take an IQ test alongside President Donald Trump, an invitation extended by late-night host Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel, known for his playful stunts, had Crockett on his show this past Wednesday.
“If you’ve tuned in recently, you know I’m preparing for something monumental. It might even outshine the Super Bowl and that Jake Paul-Dick Van Dyke matchup,” Kimmel remarked during the broadcast. He asserted that Trump’s achievements would easily surpass what he called “the two most disliked women” in an IQ challenge.
Kimmel, appealing to Trump’s flair for grand occasions, branded the potential IQ test a “once-in-a-lifetime TV event.” However, it’s worth noting that the likelihood of Trump accepting this invitation is slim. Still, Kimmel is pushing forward with what he calls a “medullar duel” and “James C. Kimmel’s Invitation to Cognitive Aptitude and Mental Brilliance.”
As Kimmel put it, “I want to allow a smart president the chance to show the left a thing or two about intellect.” He mentioned wanting a contestant, indicating he believed Trump would eventually join. Crockett later appeared via video link, officially accepting Kimmel’s challenge.
In her response, Crockett remarked, “I get it. He seems to have time to mock me instead of settling down the shutdown. But if he’s in, I’m in too.” She also pointed out that Trump has called “women of color” unintelligent in the past.
“Just a heads up, there might be questions tailored to him, like, ‘How do you get ketchup out of a bottle?’ and ‘What’s the difference between a windmill and a ceiling fan?'” Kimmel noted. “So, this won’t be a walk in the park. So, are you in?” Crockett swiftly replied, “Oh, I absolutely am.”
Wrapping up the segment, Kimmel expressed gratitude to Crockett for participating and added, “Make sure you prepare, and I’ll reach out soon.”
