“I believe that too. But I also believe that the best performance is human performance here and now, without magic.”

Two days later, at the UFC 303 press conference, Prochazka was again asked about spiritual strength. Reporter.

“Everybody knows he has these rituals,” he said. “Everybody can feel it before a fight, what’s around him, what’s going on. So I don’t think Alex can compete without it. It’s something he uses every day. So here’s my challenge to him.”

“Let’s fight in a clear way so that we don’t have something else, anything else. [in the cage]”I’m just going to put a stronger opponent in the cage to see who’s better in terms of pure performance, and that’s it,” the 205-pound fighter added.

Pereira responded in his own segment of the press conference, not missing the opportunity to downplay the accusations, instead choosing to question Prochaska’s own mentality.

“Well, everyone has their own spirit. We’re not just made of flesh and bones,” Pereira says. Said“If he doesn’t find his purpose or doesn’t believe in it, it’s not my fault.”

The reigning champion was also asked if he thought Prochazka was an “unusual” guy.

“To me he’s just a normal guy. Everyone has their own way of doing things, their own way of expressing themselves, but to me he’s just a normal guy,” Pereira added.
