Today is the final round of the John Deere Classic.
Davis Thompson shot an incredible 9-under 62 on Saturday to put him in the lead at 21 under par. The former Georgia Bulldog is looking to win his first PGA TOUR event at the same venue that launched the careers of Jordan Spieth and so many others.
TPC Deere Run continues to give up a ton of birdies, with players recording 1,681 birdies after 54 holes, more than they had in the first 24 tournaments of the season.
With scattered thunderstorms possible, the PGA Tour opted to have players play from split tees in the final round to avoid delays.
Brew some coffee, have some breakfast and settle down to prepare for the final round of the John Deere Classic.
