US Presidential Special Envoy for Climate John Kerry is reportedly planning to leave the White House in the coming months to join President Biden's presidential campaign.

The new thing was first reported by Axios on Saturday. Kerry, who ran for president in 2004, will be the first person to serve as the US presidential special envoy for climate change, which was created when President Biden took office in January 2021.

Kerry supported Biden in the 2019 presidential election.

“I believe Joe Biden is the president that our country desperately needs right now, not because I've known Joe for years, but because I know Joe so well,” Kelly said at the time.
