He is one of the people who has expressed solidarity with

of cornell daily sun reported:

“Free Palestine is the biggest fraud in the history of the planet,” John Ondrasik, also known as the Five for Fighting singer-songwriter, told an audience of about 60 people at Bailey Hall on Monday night. It became something like that.”

Ondrasik and Emmy Award-winning actress, October 7th Union Christian group opposed to rising anti-Semitism in America to speak and perform in “Combatting Anti-Semitism through Arts on and Off Campus'' to support Jewish communities amid Israel-Hamas war I was invited.

Mr. Ondrasik led the two-hour event, and Mr. Heaton provided support and encouragement to Cornell's Jewish community through video.

Cornell University has become a hotbed of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic protests. Last October, threats against Jewish students were so bad that Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul called those making them “terrorists.” Like other elite universities, Cornell University had pro-Palestinian “encampments” that disrupted campus life but disbanded without incident after the end of the academic year. When students returned to campus this fall after a tumultuous spring, they were greeted with anti-Israel graffiti.

Ondrasik wrote two songs about October 7th and its aftermath, “Song for the Hostages'' was released in October. And “OK (We Are Not OK)” was performed in Tel Aviv's Hostage Square in April, hours before the first missile and drone attacks from Iran.

At Ondrasik's Cornell executed One of his most beloved songs, “Superman (It's Not Easy),” became popular in the United States after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Behind him, a video from an appearance in Tel Aviv was playing.

Despite the presence of radical anti-Israel activists on campus, there were no security concerns or disruptions. After pointing out their absence, Ondrasik told Breitbart News that he described pro-Palestinian radicals as “bullies and cowards.”
