JoJo Siwa Rushed to Hospital Before Performance

JoJo Siwa shared that she had to go to the hospital just hours before her anticipated show, experiencing intense pain.

On a TikTok video released Saturday, while getting ready for her performance at the Mall of America the previous day, she mentioned being in “excruciating pain” that made it difficult to breathe.

Describing the ordeal, she tried lying down and even took a bath that morning, hoping to ease the “really bad” pain, but nothing seemed to help.

During her TikTok, Siwa (22) recalled how the bath felt like a setup, stating that the pain intensified significantly. After only a few minutes in the tub, she felt like she was about to pass out and become sick.

Her mother, Jessalyn Siwa, rushed to help her get dressed, called for an ambulance, and they headed to a Minnesota hospital.

JoJo admitted her mother was a bit taken aback when she agreed to call 911, noting that she is typically a “very, very tough girl.”

Upon reaching the hospital, JoJo was informed via an ultrasound that she had a ruptured ovarian cyst, which was causing her severe discomfort.

She expressed gratitude to the hospital team for their quick assistance, allowing her to perform later that day.

When asked about her condition upon arrival, JoJo told the medical personnel that she knew she might need treatment but emphasized that many people were waiting at the Mall of America, eager for her show.

After receiving painkillers, JoJo felt significantly better, even humorously mentioning that she was dancing in her hospital bed.

She shared that the cyst had “ruptured and bled into her stomach,” leading to the excruciating pain.

Despite feeling improved, JoJo mentioned she would follow up with a doctor in the coming week, as understanding what was wrong provided her with “a huge sense of relief.”

Currently, she is dating Chris Hughes from Celebrity Big Brother UK and noted that while she feels “better,” she isn’t fully recovered yet. JoJo acknowledged the hospital staff’s rapid response, mentioning the possibility that some might have had daughters excited to see her perform that evening.

In her video, she expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you to the doctors and nurses who worked so fast and helped me get home on time.”

Her fans reacted positively, encouraging her to prioritize her health. Comments ranged from reminders to take care of herself to praises for her dedication, with one fan stating, “Your health comes first.”

Another added, “Even in the hospital, your commitment shines through! You have the kindest heart and are incredibly dedicated!”
