According to War and Treaties, Jon Bon Jovi's presence appeared like divine intervention when he rescued a woman in danger on a bridge in Nashville.
The country duo of Tanya Trotter and Michael Trotter Jr. spoke to FOX News Digital on the People's Choice Country Awards red carpet Thursday night and said, in a nutshell, “Jon Bon Jovi's I thank God for that.”
Bon Jovi and The War and Treaty collaborated on the song “The People's House,” and had been filming a music video for it at the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville shortly before the incident.
“So, we had just finished shooting a music video, and John and I hugged each other and left, and 20 minutes later, this whole thing happened,” Michael explained. “I don't even think he originally planned on walking on the bridge, but something in his heart and his team said, 'Let's go on the bridge.'

“I just went to show you how he was guided. Faith guides us all, right? So thank God for John,” he added.
The “Livin' on a Prayer” singer was praised by local authorities for his efforts to successfully persuade an unidentified woman not to jump from a bridge.

“We would like to thank @JonBonJovi and his team for rescuing a woman on the Seigenthaler Peto Bridge on Tuesday night,” a Metro Nashville Police Department official shared on X. “Bon Jovi helped convince her to safely get off the Cumberland River ledge.”
Chief John Drake added in a statement: “We all must work together to keep each other safe.”

The War and Treaty are also thrilled to have worked with Bon Jovi on a song, calling him “a very important person.”
