Jon Gosselin shared an update on his weight loss journey since he started taking semaglutide, the generic version of Ozempic, in February.
in an interview on thursday 6th page, The 47-year-old John & Kate Plus 8 alum revealed that she lost 32 pounds in two months after starting to take an off-label type 2 diabetes medication to help her lose weight.
“You know what’s frustrating? It’s the regret of not starting 10 years ago,” Gosselin said. “It feels great! Why didn’t I do this sooner? Maybe it wasn’t the right time.”

Since their highly publicized divorce in 2009, Gosselin and his ex-wife Kate have fought numerous court battles over custody and child support.

“I went through a lot of mental health issues and went to court many times. It was very expensive,” Gosselin said. “It wasn’t a good time in my life. But now I’m finally able to focus on myself. I now have time to do it.”
Gosselin told the outlet that using semaglutide has helped her stop drinking alcohol and develop healthier eating habits.
“It was really good because it helped me stop drinking and allowed me to eat less and control my appetite. It allowed me to refocus on eating,” he explained. “I focused on getting what I needed in a healthy way.”

Gosselin spoke to Page Six on Thursday night at the grand opening of the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center West Hollywood. He told the magazine that since he started taking hemiglutide, he often undergoes body contouring and fat removal treatments.
“I do CellSound, which I offer here, which is ultrasound visceral fat removal, which can be the most difficult type of fat to remove,” Gosselin said. .
“Even if you do a million crunches, you may not be able to tighten your skin,” he added. “But with this, you can get closer to your goal by simply lying on the table. Before I tried it, I was worried it would hurt, but I’m happy to report that it doesn’t.”

Gosselin told the magazine that although she has benefited from non-invasive treatments, she would never choose cosmetic surgery.

“When it comes to actual surgeries like lipo,[suction], I’m like, “That’s outrageous.” I never do anything unnecessary invasive to my body,” he said.
“If I have to run or do the elliptical or peloton or whatever, that’s on me. But I’m lazy, so I would never voluntarily undergo surgery,” he continued. “That’s how I look at it.” I’m not super overweight. I said to myself, “Hey, I need to stop eating fries.” I need to stop eating food at the drive-thru. ”

In late February, Fox News Digital confirmed that John and his daughter Hannah, 19, were scheduled to begin receiving semaglutide and cell sound therapy.
“I became complacent with my health,” Gosselin told Entertainment Tonight at the time, admitting that she had gained a lot of weight.

Gosselin attributes her weight gain to her unconventional job as a DJ and her travel schedule. “Vegas, Miami…I go to places where I’m twice as tall as everyone else,” he told ET about how his weight affects his profession.
“This is the first time I’ve had to buy an XL!” he said of the jacket. “And XL doesn’t really fit me because I’m short. I’m 5’8…the sleeves are too long. Similarly, I have to wear tailored clothes. Why should I go through that, can I just change my lifestyle?”

Gosselin added that her desire to look better, along with her horrendous family history, were the ultimate motivations for solving her weight struggles.
“Heart disease runs in my family. My father had congestive heart failure. He passed away almost 18 years ago,” Gosselin explained. “He passed away at 62 and his father passed away at 65, so we’re documenting things like that.”
