LIV golf star Jon Rahm and caddie Adam Hayes vented their frustrations to fans during Rahm’s first career win on the Saudi Arabia-sponsored tour.
On Saturday, Rahm was preparing to take a chip shot off the green on the 16th hole at JCB Golf & Country Club in Rostow, England, when he heard a fan yell something over the broadcast in the distance.
I heard Rahm tap his foot and say, “Hey.”

Rahm’s frustration grew further when fans were heard yelling something at him again, and this time he threw his hands in the air.
Hayes yelled back, and though I couldn’t hear him completely, I could clearly hear his caddie say, “You’re yelling on your backswing, you son of a bitch.” That’s a terrible announcement.
Golf analyst furious at Jon Rahm’s PGA Tour comments: ‘I want to strangle him’
“That’s what we all thought,” the LIV Golf announcer said after Hayes’ comments were picked up by a microphone.
Rahm shot four under par in the final round to beat Joaquin Niemann by one stroke and finish 13 under par for the weekend, earning his first individual LIV Golf victory.
Rahm’s Legion XIII team, including Tyrell Hatton, Kieran Vincent and Caleb Surratt, won by three strokes (26 under), with Ripper GC (23 under) and Crushers GC (20 under) coming in second and third, respectively.

This isn’t the first time Rahm has dealt with frustrations caused by outside factors during his inaugural season of LIV golf events.
The use of drones has become an issue, and once again his complaints were aired in real time on the LIV Golf broadcast.
“It’s just unbelievable every single tournament,” Rahm was heard saying on air after hooking his drive into a water hazard at LIV Nashville Golf in June. “Every single time, on my backswing, I get this damn drone.”
LIV Golf offers a modern alternative to the traditional PGA Tour, with elements that appeal to a variety of demographics including music and cheering on select holes throughout the year.

But no golfer wants to hear anything during their backswing unless they know that cheering is coming.

Rahm wasn’t happy at the time, but he eventually overcame a bogey to win with a 1-under round on Saturday.
