Jon Rahm isn’t happy about drones being used during LIV Golf events and made it known to everyone during the tour’s Nashville broadcast on Sunday.
Rahm, who was two strokes behind the leader at Nashville LIV Golf, was caught on microphone yelling abuse at the use of a drone near his tee shot during the tournament’s final round.
Rahm was frustrated that the ball didn’t fade from left to right as he had intended, and his tee shot double-crossed into the water hazard on the left side of the hole.

After checking where the ball was going to land, Rahm quickly turned his head to look up at a drone that was circling above the tee box but not visible on broadcast.

“Every tournament,” Rahm can be heard saying, “it’s unbelievable. There’s this f**king drone on the backswing every single time.”

The timing of Rahm’s tee shot error could not have been worse, as he was two strokes behind the leader, but he bogeyed the par-four 12th hole.
But he finished with a strong round, scoring birdies on the 14th and 15th holes to finish the tournament tied with Lee Westwood at 12 under par.

Also, taking into account LIV Golf’s team format, Rahm’s Legion XIII teammate, Tyrrell Hatton, is in sole possession of first place at 18-under in Nashville, five strokes ahead of Sam Horsfield, who finished the tournament at 13-under.
With one hole remaining at the time of writing, Legion XIII was five strokes behind second-place Torque GC at 34 under par as a team.
Although Rahm performed well in this tournament, he did not perform well in the two major tournaments he played in this season.
Rahm withdrew from the U.S. Open because of a foot injury, finished tied for 45th in the Masters Tournament and missed the cut at the PGA Championship in Louisville earlier this year.

Rahm is clearly in better form after recovering from a foot injury and will be hoping to post a better scorecard at next month’s British Open.
